At Sanctuary Recovery Centers, we understand the importance of having fun and enjoying life in recovery. That’s why we’ve put together a list of fun activities that you can do as a sober person in the Phoenix, Arizona area.

1 Hiking – Phoenix is home to many beautiful trails and mountains that are perfect for hiking. Get out and explore the great outdoors while getting some exercise and fresh air.

2 Art Classes – Take a painting, drawing or pottery class at a local art studio. Express your creativity and try something new!

3 Volunteer – Helping others is a great way to give back to the community and make a difference. Volunteer at a local shelter or charity, and meet other like-minded individuals.
4 Visit a Museum – Phoenix is home to many fantastic museums, such as the Phoenix Art Museum or the Heard Museum. Learn about history, culture, and art while having a fun and sober day out.
