No Insurance Addiction Recovery – Substance Abuse Block Grant (SABG)
April 21, 2023
At Sanctuary Recovery Centers, we are thrilled and honored to announce that we have been awarded the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) Block Grant (SABG). This grant will enable us to provide critical mental health and substance abuse services to individuals who are uninsured or underinsured.
SAMHSA is a federal agency that works to improve the quality and availability of mental health and substance abuse prevention, treatment, and recovery services across the country. The SABG is a significant source of funding for mental health services at the state and local levels. This grant is crucial for organizations like ours, as it helps us to expand access to care for those who may not have the resources to pay for treatment.
We are proud to be recognized by SAMHSA for our commitment to providing compassionate and effective care to those struggling with mental health and substance abuse issues. With the SABG grant, we can now serve even more individuals in the Phoenix, Arizona area who may not have been able to access treatment before becasue of insurance requirements.
This grant will allow us to offer a range of evidence-based treatments and therapies, including individual and group counseling, medication-assisted treatment, and holistic approaches to care. We believe in treating the whole person, and the SABG grant will enable us to provide comprehensive care to those who need it most.
Grants like the SABG are critical to the provision of mental health and substance abuse services in our communities. We are grateful for the support of SAMHSA and other state and federal organizations that recognize the importance of providing quality care to those in need. With this grant, we can continue to serve our community with the highest level of care and compassion.
