Serving the Underserved: C.O.R.E. Team

We’ve been getting increasing amount of questions and interest in our C.O.R.E. team; the initiative we started a while back designed to assist youth, financially challenged individuals, those experiencing homelessness, and more. Our C.O.R.E. team is such a bright spot here in our daily work, and we’re excited to watch it grow.

The C.O.R.E. Team

This group is comprised of professionals that go above and beyond their call of duty to serve the community’s most vulnerable populations: youth, the financially challenged, individuals experiencing homelessness, and many others. The C.O.R.E. Team’s central goal is spreading education and prevention while ensuring that every person seeking recovery receives the care they need, regardless of their circumstances.

The C.O.R.E. Team’s Approach:
The C.O.R.E. Team operates on a compassionate and holistic approach, recognizing that addiction and mental health issues are often intertwined with various social, economic, and personal challenges. Harm reduction services come first in our work. We meet the individual where they’re at in their journey.

Financial Assistance for Treatment:
One of the significant hurdles for individuals seeking treatment without insurance or adequate coverage is the cost of rehab services. The C.O.R.E. Team, working in partnership with a targeted SAMHSA program, offers various financial assistance programs to alleviate the burden of expenses. These programs are tailored to each individual’s situation, ensuring that affordability does not hinder access to life-changing treatment options.

Outreach and Community Engagement:
The C.O.R.E. Team recognizes that healing extends beyond the confines of a treatment facility. We actively engage with the community, forging partnerships with local organizations, shelters, and support networks. By providing education, resources, and intervention services, they contribute to a network of care that extends far beyond the walls of Sanctuary Recovery Centers. Through their outreach efforts, the C.O.R.E. Team aims to break the cycle of addiction and homelessness, offering a lifeline to those in need.

Sanctuary Recovery Centers and our C.O.R.E. Team in Phoenix have a steadfast commitment to providing accessible addiction treatment and support services to the underinsured, uninsured, youth – and just generally the underserved population here in the area. By embracing those who face hardship, we hope to create a more vibrant, healthy community.
